  1. What is pension age for both men & women?

    Men & women were born on or after 01/01/1957, their pension age is 67 years which is effective from 01/07/2023.

  2. What do you need from me (only for Individual Tax Return) so that you can help me prepare my tax return?
    You need to provide us a copy of your most recent tax return. We send you a required information checklist that will help you in providing all necessary documents such as your work-related deductions, dividend & distribution statements, purchase and sell confirmation for shares,…etc.

  3. What do you need from me (only for business clients including company, trust, self-managed superannuation fund) so that I can move our accounting services to you?

    • From 13 November 2023, client-to-agent linking will apply to all types of entities with an ABN, excluding sole traders. Clients will need to nominate a tax agent through business online services when they first engage the tax agent to represent them.

    • Provide a copy of most recent tax return & financial statements and also your previous accountants’ details so that we can obtain any other information that will be relevant for future use. We will process the transfer of records and you won’t need to do anything.

  4. How do I send in my documents, instead of having to make an appointment to see you?

    We accept information to prepare your tax return via e-mail, mail, dropbox, sharefiles whichever you feel convenient.

  5. How long do I have to notify ASIC of changes to directors and shareholders in a company? 

    You have 28 days to notify ASIC of any changes to shareholdings, director changes, new addresses for business or directors. You need to email our office as soon as possible to provide us with the new details. This will ensure we can prepare and lodge the necessary forms, as well as update the ATO, ABR and our database within the time frame. 

  6. Can my Business Activity Statement and Income Tax Returns lodgment date be extended?
    When lodging through a tax agent, you generally receive an extended amount of time to lodge BASs and ITRs. Also, if it is necessary, we can apply for an additional extension period for some special circumstances.

  7. How long will I receive my refund?

    It generally takes 14–30 days for the ATO to process returns and issue refunds.
